Starting Module 2

Beginning module 2 has been a bit of a slow start for me in terms of what I should start with. I want to be able take my time to process information from the handbook and Kortext and not push myself to the point of panic and rush through them. What I learnt during module 1 is that I need to trust my own process and not compare what I’m doing to someone else’s work, which I found myself doing quite a lot.

I attended the welcome Skype on the Saturday which was run by Adesola and Helen, and I was joined by others starting module 2, the same as me, and those just starting in term 1. It was nice to hear what the other students had been up to and what advice they gave the newcomers which I took note of as well.
What I’ve taken away the most from my time during module 1 is that I need to allow myself time to accomplish my tasks, and also I need to stick to the schedule I make myself more. I don’t necessarily have trouble setting myself tasks but I do struggle with compelling myself to do the steps to complete said task. For this module I might possibly change my study process up a little bit as I believe the way I’m currently working isn’t achieving the results I would like. How I go about that I’m not quite sure.
